Background The EUROpean Ewing tumour Working Initiative of National Groups 1999 (EURO‐E.W.I.N.G. 99) protocol prescribes six courses of vincristine, ifosfamide, doxorubicin, and etoposide (VIDE) as intensive induction chemotherapy for Ewing tumors (ET).
