Review of the family Anthribidae (Coleoptera) from the Jurassic of Karatau: Subfamily Protoscelinae. Genus Protoscelis Medvedev

The subfamily Protoscelinae from the Middle to Late Jurassic of Karatau is transferred from the family Chrysomelidae to the family Anthribidae. The genus Protoscelis, comprising five species, is reviewed. Males and females of the genus are described and keys to the identification of male and female specimens are provided.
