Abstract
The small subunit rRNA (SSU rRNA) coding regions sequenced from the euglenoids Petalomonas cantuscygni, Peranema trichophorum, and Khawkinea quartana were used to assess the phylogenetic relationships of these genera within the Euglenozoa.
