Abstract
The B lue D ot gold deposit, located in the A rchean A malia greenstone belt of S outh A frica, is hosted in an oxide (± carbonate) facies banded iron formation ( BIF ). It consists of three stratabound orebodies; G oudplaats, A belskop, and B othmasrust.
