Antimicrobial Substances in Certain Members of Solanaceae

In an exploratory study on the antimicrobial substances, present in the extracts of certain members of Solanaceae, 42 active spots against S. aureus and/or G. utilis were detected by paper chromatography in the various tomato plant extracts.
