Abstract
Synchroma grande (Synchromophyceae, Heterokontophyta) is a marine amoeboid alga, which was isolated from a benthic habitat. This species has sessile cell stages (amoeboid cells with lorica and cysts) and non-sessile cell stages (migrating and floating amoebae) during its life cycle.
