Since the first oil well was drilled in Nigeria, traditional economies have suffered neglect, and rural youths do not see a future for themselves in traditional industries livelihood (TIL). This article critically explores the evaluation practice of practitioners working in an English development education organization on the basis of an in-depth longitudinal case study.
