Abstract Graphitic carbon nitride (GCN) nanosheets decorated with iron nanoparticles (Fe/g-C 3 N 4 ) were synthesized and used as catalysts in FTS. The crystal structure and morphology of Fe/g-C 3 N 4 were characterized with XRD, FT-IR, HRTEM, EXAFS, BET, and its texture evolution during Fischer-Tropsch synthesis was monitored. Abstract An Ag(I)-functionalized MOF, MIL-101-SO 3 Ag, was synthesized and demonstrated to be an efficient and environmentally friendly catalyst for the syntheses of propargylamines through A 3 coupling of aldehydes, terminal alkynes and amines. Abstract In this study, a novel decontamination method against mustard agent simulant 2-chloroethyl ethyl sulfide (CEES) was conducted with 30% H 2 O 2 aqueous solution in 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium based ionic liquids (ILs). More than 99% of the CEES was oxidized within H 2 O 2 /[BMIm]HCO 3 at a concentration of 20 mg mL −1 in 30 min with the corresponding sulfoxide yield more than 97%.
