Background Laparoscopic partial nephrectomy (LPN) with segmental renal artery clamping has become an important method to minimize the warm ischemia of the kidney during the surgery. In the present study, we adopted a new model of calculating surgery-related kidney volume loss (SKVL), which was derived from the imaging technology to predict the outcomes of LPN with segmental renal artery clamping.

Purpose In addition to standard TNM N staging, lymph node ratio (LNR) and log odds of metastatic lymph node (LODDS) staging methods have been developed for cancer staging. We compared the prognostic performance of the total number of lymph nodes examined (TNLE), number of metastatic lymph node (NMLN), LNR, and LODDS in prostate cancer.

Purpose Erectile dysfunction is one of the important morbidities following the radical prostatectomy (RP) surgeries. The goal of this research is to investigate the contribution of intraoperative neuromonitorisation method (IONM) on postoperative erectile function in patients who underwent robotic-assisted laparoscopic radical prostatectomy (RALP) with the localise prostate cancer (LPCa).
Purpose There is no contemporary proof of cancer-control benefits in octogenarian clinically localized prostate cancer (PCa) patients with life expectancy (LE) < 10 years. Therefore, cancer-specific mortality (CSM) rates after external beam radiation therapy (EBRT) vs. no local treatment (NLT) were tested in octogenarian PCa patients with LE < 10 years.
Objective There are less scar formations in some wounds after wound repair. Our earlier study had shown that the amount of collagen fibers in canine prostatic urethra wound were less than in bladder neck wound after 2-μm laser resection of the prostate (TmLRP) and partial bladder neck mucosa at 4 weeks. The purpose of this study was to observe the amount of scar tissue and characterize the probable causes of “less scar healing” in prostatic urethra wound.
Purpose To evaluate the predictive value of attenuation value (HU) in renal pelvis urine for detecting renal pelvis urine culture (RPUC) positivity in obstructed urinary systems.

Purpose This study aimed to evaluate the density of CD8+ and CD3+ tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) and determine whether the immunoscore has any prognostic effect on the oncological outcomes in patients with clear cell renal cell carcinoma (RCC).
