We demonstrate that two new zirconium based metal-organic frameworks can be constructed from organic chromophore ligands. Both compounds show intense yellow emission when excited by blue light, with notable fluorescence red shift and quantum yield enhancement compared to the organic chromophore.

This work reports a successful achievement for constructing mosaic tiling MFI zeolite (MT-MFI) mesocrystal with oriented alignment of 20 nm crystallite domains, and the enhanced catalytic performance for different diffusion-limited reactions is achieved on such a MT-MFI zeolite, which is obviously superior to the conventional MFI zeolite.
