Neuronal and endothelial nitric oxide synthases (nNOS and eNOS respectively) play major roles in generating the nitric oxide bioactivity necessary for erectile function. Abstract Aims The present study aims to investigate the role of Akt in the regulation of urinary bladder organ hypertrophy caused by partial bladder outlet obstruction (pBOO).
