Abstract The myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN) polycythaemia vera, essential thrombocythaemia and primary myelofibrosis are chronic myeloid disorders associated most often with mutations in JAK2, MPL and CALR, and in some patients with additional acquired genomic lesions.
