Abstract The antidiabetic, antioxidant and antimicrobial activities of solvent fractions from the aerial part of T. triandra were investigated. The n-hexane (TT-001), ethyl acetate fraction of the leaves (TT-002), n-hexane (TT-003) and the ethyl acetate fraction of the twigs (TT-004) were studied. Abstract The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of the butanol fraction from Allium tuberosum (BFAT) in high fat diet/streptozotocin (HFD/STZ) induced diabetic nephropathy. Wistar rats were fed with HFD for 4 weeks and thereafter administered with 35 mg/kg STZ intraperitoneally.
