Long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) have the main role in the tumorigenesis of breast cancer. In the present study, lncRNA expression profiling was collected to identify a lncRNA expression signature from the Gene Expression Omnibus database. An eight-lncRNA signature was established to predict the survival of patients with estrogen receptor (ER)-positive breast cancer receiving endocrine therapy. Patients were separated into a low-risk group and a high-risk group based on this signature. Patients in ...

Breast cancer is the most common malignancy for women worldwide, while Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC) accounts for 20% in all patients. Compared with estrogen receptor positive breast cancer, which could be effectively controlled via endocrine therapy, TNBC is more aggressive and worse in prognosis. It is therefore urgent and necessary to develop a novel therapeutic strategy for TNBC treatment. Recent studies identified Hippo signaling is highly activated in TNBC, which could be a driving ...

Abstract Breast cancer ranks first among female malignancies worldwide, and estrogen receptor-positive (ER+) breast cancer is the leading cause of cancer death in women. Abnormal oncogenic signaling has important effects on the development of breast cancer, such as ERα/ ESR1 (estrogen receptor alpha), PTEN (gene of phosphate and tension homology deleted on chromsome ten), NFκB(nuclear factor κB), and tumor protein p53 (p53 / TP53). SHARPIN is a ubiquitin-related protein that has important regula...

Background Controversy in axillary reverse mapping in axillary lymph node dissection (ALND) possibly results from incomplete recognition of the arm lymphatic system (ALS) and its compromise to oncological safety. The iDEntification and Preservation of ARm lymphaTic system (DEPART) technique facilitates complete identification of ALS; therefore, its use may decrease the occurrence of arm lymphedema. This study aimed to examine the arm lymphedema rate, locoregional recurrence, and feasibility to p...
