Although exercise is recognized as an important component of the management for patients following bariatric surgery (BS), its effectiveness on cardiorespiratory fitness (CRF) is still unclear. Abstract Similar to the peripheral skeletal muscles, the function of the respiratory skeletal muscles is affected by obesity.
