Abstract To ascertain the preliminary structural characteristics and biological activity of different fractions of polysaccharides from Sagittaria sagittifolia L. (SPCs) by ultrasonic assisted extraction (UAE), four new polysaccharides (SPC-60, SPC-70, SPC-80 and SPC-90) were successively fractionated by ethanol. Abstract In the present study, to investigate the prevention mechanism of proanthocyanidins from lotus seedpod (LSPCs) on methyl mercuric chloride (MMC) induced neurotoxicity, neuron/astrocyte cells were co-cultured to simulate the microenvironment in vivo to the greatest extent. Abstract In the present study, the antioxidant hydrolysates obtained from watermelon seed protein (WSP) after divergent ultrasound and ultrafiltration treatment were studied. Abstract In this study, polyphenols from lotus seedpod were extracted by subcritical water. Based on single factor experiments, the extraction conditions were optimized by response surface methodology (RSM). Abstract In the present study, we obtained polysaccharides from Sagittaria sagittifolia L. (SSP) with subcritical water extraction (SWE). Two water-soluble polysaccharides (SSP-W1 and SSP-S1) from the acquired SSP were isolated with DEAE-52 and Sephadex G-100.
