We propose and demonstrate an external-feedback semiconductor laser-based chaos generation scheme supporting simultaneous bandwidth enhancement and excellent time-delay-signature (TDS) suppression, by using parallel-coupling ring resonators (PCRR) as reflector. We experimentally demonstrate a physical secure optical communication scheme. Transmission of a 10 Gb/s signal over 50-km fiber link is successfully achieved, with corresponding bit-error rate below 10-5.

A physical-security-enhanced OFDM-PON based on chaotic selective-mapping and novel 3D 16-ary constellation is proposed. The numerical results demonstrate that high security and better BER performance is achievable compared with the conventional scenarios.
