A 6-year-old male child presented to our department with delayed developmental milestones and generalised hypopigmented patches since birth. There was no history of seizures or hearing or visual deficit. Family history was not significant. Examination revealed symmetrical hypopigmented patches

Abstract The purpose of this study was to identify clinical factors which may help in predicting the requirement of support of mechanical ventilation (MV) in patients with stroke. Crises focales et deficits neurologiques progressifs en quelques mois ou annees. Dans 3 cas, lobectomie temporale pour controler les crises, dans 1 cas biopsie temporale et le 5eme cas est traite par lobectomie occipitale pour enlever une masse. Les lesions anatomopathologiques sont compatibles avec une encephalite «virale» active, progressive, mais les signes cliniques systemiques d'encephalite sont observes et le LCR n'est pas inflammatoire

Four patients are reported who in the first decade of life developed intractable seizures, progressive dementia and a neurological deficit in the form of hemiplegia or quadriplegia.
