Abstract Horse-chestnut ethanolic extract was tested as potential corrosion inhibitor of bronze in simulated acid rain. Abstract The present study explores the in vitro and in vivo responses of new multifunctional quaternary beta-type TiMoZrTa alloys designed for biomedical implantation. Abstract Over the last decade, new titanium alloys are developed in different areas of implantology. Abstract Simultaneous monitoring of pH and Mg2+ distributions above AZ63 magnesium alloy, either spontaneously corroding or galvanically coupled with iron, was achieved using SECM in the potentiometric operation.
