Abstract The Qinling arc terrane (QAT) at the southern margin of the North Qinling Early Paleozoic orogen, Central China, is composed of gneiss domes overridden by cold allochthon nappes. Abstract Indosinian granitic rocks are widespread in the West Qinling Orogen (WQO) in central China. ABSTRACTThe Acite ophiolitic melange represents a remnant of the Proto-Tethys forearc oceanic lithosphere. Two gabbros yield zircon 206Pb/238U ages of 510-512 Ma. Abstract We conducted an integrated study including U-Pb dating and Lu-Hf isotope analysis for detrital zircons from the turbidites of the North Tianshan Accretionary Complex, northern Chinese West Tianshan, to constrain their depositional age, source characteristics and tectonic setting.
