This study focuses on the zircon U–Pb geochronology and geochemistry of intermediate–basic dikes from the Buqingshan–A’nyemaqen tectonic melange belt (BTMB) along the southern margin of the East Kunlun orogenic belt (EKOB). Zircons from a diorite dike show oscillatory zoning and relatively high Th/U ratios (0.47–2.43), indicating that they are of magmatic origin. ABSTRACTThe Acite ophiolitic melange represents a remnant of the Proto-Tethys forearc oceanic lithosphere. Two gabbros yield zircon 206Pb/238U ages of 510-512 Ma. Abstract The Yikehalaer intrusives are distributed in the Buqingshan tectonic melange belt at the southern margin of East Kunlun, China. They tectonically intruded the conglomerate of Permian Gequ Formation to the south and the marble of Mesoproterozoic Kuhai Group to the north.
