Le barrage de Youmban se situe dans le canton de Gorouol, departement de Tera (Region de Tillabery, Niger). Il appartient a la zone semiaride du Liptako-Gourma. Ses coordonnees geographiques sont : 14°48’7.80’’ de latitude N et 00°22’4.14’’ de longitude E. Sorption- and stress-induced coal permeability alteration may occur considering injection of carbon dioxide in coal seams for CCS. To take into account properly these phenomena, a microscale model was developed for the modelling of injection experiments carried out in laboratory. This work presents this model and first experimental results obtained from an injection test.
