Abstract Structural mapping and microstructural analyses are combined with stable, clumped, and radiogenic isotopes to unravel deformation mechanisms and syntectonic fluid flow during upward propagation along the Fuans frontal thrust of the internal part of the Jura fold-and-thrust belt. The Sr-isotope systematics and trace element analysis were applied to vine and wine collected during the 2015 harvest from the Bosa vineyard, a high-altitude farm in the Apuan Alps UNESCO Global Geopark in Italy, in order to investigate the links with geology in vineyards facing with a hostile environment. Geochemistry and Sr-Nd isotopes were determined in Triassic calcalkaline metalava and metapyroclastic rocks from Attica and Argolida, central Greece, to ascertain their origin, evolution, and emplacement timing. The Sabatini Volcanic District (SVD), active between 0.8 and 0.07 Ma, is a volcanic field in the Roman province (Central Italy) located along the Tyrrhenian margin of the Italian peninsula. The Roc Blanc Pb-Zn-Ag ± Au vein system in the Variscan Central Jebilet massif, Morocco, is confined within the contact metamorphic aureole of S- and I-type calc-alkaline granitic stocks (327 ± 4 to 295 ± 15 Ma) along the Marrakech Shear Zone. The extensional Val Roveto Fault, which is the longest exhumed potentially-seismogenic structure of central Apennines, Italy, is examined to constrain earthquake-related fluid circulation and fluid sources within shallow carbonate-hosted faults. The freshwater influence in the 87Sr/86Sr ratio of mollusk shells were analyzed within a Late Quaternary subsurface succession of the Po River Delta (core 187-S1).
