Abstract Benzotriazoles (4–6) were synthesized which were further reacted with different substituted benzoic acids and phenacyl bromides to synthesize benzotriazole derivatives (7–40). Abstract In the present report, we describe the synthesis of the amide derivative, N -(2,4-dichlorophenyl)-1-naphthamide, 3 , via a facile chemical route. Abstract New triazinoindole bearing thiazole/oxazole analogues (1–21) were synthesized and characterized through spectroscopic techniques such as HREI-MS, 1H and 13C NMR.
